I appreciated in particular his extensive knowledge about Indian... read more history, which allowed me to see the sights we visited in context. Safe driver, all well organized. My advice to others regarding timing is to not start too late (5pm did the trick for me), since some sights close with sunset. In the shop at the end, you’re not required to buy, but if you don’t want to, you should say so clearly. As for me, I did buy, since it’s a cooperative with authentic handicraft products, where producers receive the money directly. If you want to buy a real Kashmir scarf, rather do it here then buying a Chinese copy on the streets.
