Dharmendra had an extensive knowledge of the sites we visited; the step well, India gate, the parliament and presidential precinct, Ghandi’s museum and Humayun’s Tomb. The history and relevance of the sites was clearly and concisely explained to us and any questions we had resulted in in-depth answers. Dharmendra vastly expanded our knowledge and appreciation of the politics and history of India. Our driver Azad ensured we were delivered to the sites as close as possible and collected again safely. His car was immaculate and his driving skills put us all at ease in the chaotic traffic. He also contributed to the sightseeing with his knowledge of various points of interest along the route. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at a western style venue which was recommended by Dharmendra. If you want to experience Delhi in comfort and safety and end up with a vastly improved knowledge of this amazing city then we highly recommend the team of Dharmendra and Azad. 10/10.

My advice to others regarding timing is to not start too late (5pm did the trick for me), since some sights close with sunset. In the shop at the end, you’re not required to buy, but if you don’t want to, you should say so clearly. As for me, I did buy, since it’s a cooperative with authentic handicraft products, where producers receive the money directly. If you want to buy a real Kashmir scarf, rather do it here then buying a Chinese copy on the streets.
